Parasailing is an unforgettable water activity that combines excitement, safety and spectacular views. It involves being lifted on a parachute that’s towed by a speedboat, with completely controlled take-off and landing directly from the boat itself, so you won’t get wet unless you choose to.
At The Point Marbella, we have a specialist technical team with years of experience in nautical activities to ensure you enjoy this adventure with complete safety and confidence.
Before starting, we’ll provide you with the mandatory life jacket and you’ll board a rigid inflatable boat that will take you to our main vessel. There, the instructor will fit you with a harness adjusted to your size and explain step by step how the experience will unfold.
Then comes the best part, soaring above the Mediterranean, feeling the freedom, adrenaline and excitement of floating over the water whilst taking in Marbella Bay, the Sierra Blanca mountains and the sparkling Costa Del Sol stretching out below you.

WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE THERE FOR THE ACTIVITY?
Before boarding, we conduct a quick safety briefing so you know exactly what to expect and how to act. Our team is always by your side to ensure the experience is comfortable, fun and safe.
- Minimum age: 8 years (children must be accompanied by an adult).
- Total combined weight: minimum 50 kg / maximum 200 kg per flight (individual, double or triple).
- Swimming ability is not mandatory, but is recommended in case you choose to get wet during landing.
- No previous experience required.
- Not recommended for people with heart problems, back issues or pregnant women.

DEPARTURE FROM THE POINT MARBELLA BEACH
All our parasailing departures take place from Playa de la Fontanilla, one of Marbella’s most central and accessible beaches. Its privileged location, right next to the seafront promenade and just a few steps from the town centre, allows you to arrive on foot, by car or even by bike.
This beach, sheltered from the wind and with normally calm waters, offers the ideal conditions for parasailing take-off and landing.
